Mere Teinaki - Chartered Accountant 

Mere is a dedicated Chartered Accountant with expertise in Xero, tax advisory, and simplifying complex accounting processes for clients. Her passion lies in making clients’ lives easier by streamlining their accounting and tax systems and explaining financial concepts in plain English. A career highlight for Mere is her service on the Xero Partner Advisory Council, where she contributed to shaping Xero’s approach to supporting small businesses and accounting practices. 

Malcom Shepherd - Financial Advisor 

With over 25 years in financial services, Malcolm founded Quantum Financial Advisers in 2015, building it into an award-winning firm specialising in residential and commercial lending, as well as wealth growth strategies. Quantum's signature system helps clients repay home loans in under 10 years while simultaneously building investment wealth.

Under his leadership, Quantum has earned the title of New Zealand Regional Mortgage Brokers of the Year 2022, runner-up for National Mortgage Brokers of the Year 2023. A first for a Northland firm and New Zealand's Top Mortgage Employer 2022. Malcolm himself was recognised as one of New Zealand's Top 50 Advisers in 2021.

Having facilitated over $1 billion in lending throughout his career, Malcolm now focuses on governance and strategy, offering his commercial acumen and leadership to organisations seeking an experienced director or trustee.

Lou McRae Shepherd - Financial Advisor 

With a Bachelor of Health Science (Midwifery) and a career rooted in healthcare, Lou brings a deep understanding of the challenges communities face and a genuine passion for equitable access to education, support, and wellbeing services.

Alongside her role at Kiwi Money School, Lou supports the Vascular & Metabolic Equity Foundation Trust, advancing its mission to improve vascular and metabolic health outcomes across Aotearoa. She believes education, empowerment, and community collaboration are essential to creating lasting positive change.
